Your Nemesis and You

Your Nemesis and You

quoteThere is no worse enemy than one in disguised as your friend, learning all your secrets and using them to make you a better person.

I was on the phone with my best friend catching up with the events of our lives and gossiping about our other less worthy friends. She was my trusted confidant, my amiga, my homie way back in high school. As I get older with each passing age, I’ve learned that most people are like seasons, they come and go like Summer, Winter, Fall, and Spring. One thing that usually remains constant are our best friends. My BFF, my homie, my home slice, my compondre, my amiga. They are like family (if you had the option of choosing them). I never give it a second thought, my BFF knows my innermost secrets, which is why you don’t get rid your best friend so easily. They know too much, you’d have to kill them

I met my adversary in high school. In my youth, I didn’t believe in best friends until I met her. She strategically placed herself in situations with me that would merit friendship hood. It was no secret, at the end of the day she was the one I wanted to share all my inner most moments with.
